Can't help you directly, after all this is almost the holy grail. ;-) However, one thing I can suggest is that there are lists out there of domains which have good links from the Yahoo Directory and which have expired. I can't recall the URL myself, but have bumped into it quite a lot.. it's a subscription site.

You can propbably try ebay for some domain sellers. They usually tell in the body of the auction that the domain they are selling is OLD and that it has X number of Links.

I have many traffic names with some high linkpops (domain er term for links).

Most are adult but let me know what your topic is and we can discuss the price for such a domain.

Please note (as us domainers are not happy about) once a domain expires, google has new technology that deletes its listings etc, apparently.

So this may not work well with google.

Otherwise.

Exody.com $50 per month

Marketleap.com (linkpop) free, but only small batches (4)

Domain-Retriever.com - Software, a friends site

DomainsBot.com

and many more.

Exody is by far the best imo.

Watch out for my new site coming up!

TypeInChecker.com which will look for tpyein domains!

PLEASE be careful with Ebay auctions for domains that claim to be Yahoo! listed. They are usually referring to the Google serps as many of the actual Yahoo! directory listed sites tend to "disappear" once posted on Ebay.
