Hi all!

Currently I'd submitted the link page to Google Search Engine by manually.
Do you guys have any idea about to use some sort of software to do a submission by automated.

Yik Yuan, as in your previous thread: you don't need any submission software. You don't really need to submit your pages. Subitting the index page, or a sitemap is enough. In any case you won't get indexed in full and permanently if there are no links pointing to your site.

Hi heini!

Thanks. But I still doubt of If I just submitted my index page then do I still need to submitting other page? For example myProject.htm contain all my computer hands-on project information.

So, I hope when the people type the computer keyword then myProject.htm will show on the search results.

Could you give an idea to do that?Thank

Hi Yik! :)

Unfortunately it isnt as easy as that (i wish!).

Have a read around the forums for more information on how to SEO your site in order to target specific keywords.

I dont think submitting your site to Google makes much difference to be honest (you only need to do it once though).

The best way to get listed in Googles index is to have other sites linking to you (preferably using the keyword you want to target in the link text).

The more sites that link to you, the better!

I would also stay away from automated submission software. Firstly, they are pretty pointless, because when you are indexed, they are not needed and multiple submissions are unnecessary.

Secondly, Google doesnt like automated software - probably because of the bandwidth issues, but also because it smells of spam! ;)

Ideally - submit your site once, then concentrate on getting links from other sites (directories are a good start).

Good luck!
Scott

Not really an affiliate's program but this would not hurt.

You need some way of getting other site owners interested is what you have that may be of benefit to their visitors and exchange links with them.

Directory are good for this as well, some general directories that cover a wide range of topical and regional areas are:

DMOZ.org
Josh.nu
Zeal.com
Jayde.com
JoeAnt.com
Gimpsy.com
SoMuch.com
SeekOn.com
GoGuides.org
SurfPoint.com
123World.com
SuperPages.ca
linkopedia.com
SunSteam.com
Invisible-Web.net

and listing in Yahoo helps as well - some cost to be included.

Hi Fathom,

Thanks a lot for your useful list. I am already included in Yahoo and Dmoz but your list included many great directories I never heard about.

Hi!

Currently the Search Engine has crawl my websie. So normally how long does it take a effect?
Since I had submitted a lot of page URL to Google and Yahoo Search Engine. But it seems doesn't take any effect.
Maybe I did a mistake on submitting's procedure.

Thank In Advance!
