Links inside <hx> tags?

For want of a better place to ask, is there a problem of any kind with placing a link within <hx> tags as follows:

<h3 class=nomargin><a href="">Blue Widget Disasters</a>

I have used Links in <hx> tags in many project over the years and never got any problems (with users, spiders, ranking, HTML validator and stuff).

Absolutely no worries whatsoever.

No reason why a headline can't be a link right? I do it all the time....
