I recieved a reciprocal link request from a site that said they had placed my link on Http:*//fuzzy-widgets-directory.com/links.html would I please place a link on my site and link it to Http:*//fuzzy-widgets.com. Since I was looking at this at 3AM it did not dawn on me that these were two differant sites until I had looked at them 4-5 times.

The -directory site has a link from every page of the "home" site. So it should have decent PR after the next update (the home site has a PR6).

My question is what are the draw backs of this stratagy for both the site requesting and the requested. So far I have not been able to think of any additional drawbacks than traditional reciprocal linking and several advantages.

Unless of course that the directory links page has no index in the Meta Robot, robots.txt disallows, or the .htaccess send all crawlers to the home site.

In any of these instances -- you get nothing out og the deal, problem not even click-trhough traffic.
