I've just launched a new site and it doesn't seem to have been deep crawled. I'm wondering if I have too many links on my homepage. If anyone out there has any guidelines as to how many links you should have or any other advice to impart I would love to hear from you.

Google likes around 100 links per page, having said that it should still index the page.. it just might not follow all of the links on the page.

From the Google webmaster FAQ:

Keep the links on a given page to a reasonable number (fewer than 100).

I like to keep them around 25, fewer is better. I'm selfishly picky about links believing less is more, quality over quantiy, purpose over manipulation.
