I am working in travel/accommodation industry. In this category reciprocal linking between quality (PR6) websites is very popular. So currently I have to administrate more than 200 reciprocal links. According to google rules I cannot place more than 100 link on one site (altough a lot of webmaster place 200-500 links on one linksite). So for this amount of link (>200) I have to create 3 link sites.
In the following I demonstrate 3 solutions.
Let us presume that the main site has PR6.
1.I am interested in, how will alter the PR of main(if it will)
2.what wil be the PR value of the link sites.
Solution 1.:
From the main one link points to the link index site where you can select from the 3 link sites. All link sites are crosslinked to each other.
solution1: this placed on a free site, sorry for the popup advertisment.
Solution 2.:
From the main all there link sites are visible. All linksites are crosslinked.
solution2
Solution 3.:
From the main site points a link only to link site 1. All link sites are crosslinked.
solution3
Can one of these solution lead to damage of main PR?
Is there any limit of reciprocal linking? I mean more then 1000 link can be considered as link farm?
thanks for the advice

I think you are confusing the apparent links per page limitation with links per site. One site can have many, many links; think DMOZ, for example. The concern is that if you have too many links on one page, they'll get ignored. Or, they'll transfer only diluted PR.
My suggestion would be to break the links into logical, theme-based groups on separate pages. All will get spidered, and if theme analysis of linked pages becomes a major factor you'll be even better off.
Sorry if I misundestood the question, but I hope that helps.
