what works best...

If I was trying to target a keyword phrase such as "blue widgets" for example, what would work best in the anchor text of incoming links :

a. "Blue Widgets"

b. "Blue Widgets For Sale"

c. "Online Blue Widgets"

d. "Widgets of all colours - Blue, Red, Green"

Basically I cannot determine if having the exact keyword phrase on its own is the best.

Hi,

It depnds on what your site is there for. If for sale of blue widgets then B. My reasoning is the traffic would be more targeted. Might mean less traffic over a generic term but it would convert better for sales.
