hi all. I have a few domain names that are to big to go through by hand to try to find the links that they all have but, I need to find them. Is there a software that can do this for you? Also, is there a software that you can just put up "one page" and it will link that one page to all the links(kindof how they do those ppc deals). Thanks all.

I don't know of any software... So maybe someone should get to work on one?

I use alltheweb.com to find the links that google doesn't show.

I use Analog.
It shows all referrers if you wish and it's free.

If some link is any good, someone must have clicked on it at least once, no?

The vast majority of links out there will never be clicked on, at least that's what my research implies. I have written my own software for the requested purpose, but no plans on selling that one so far.

Probably unfair to tell you all about it then, eh? ;)

So the vast majority of webmasters dont even do a quality control, before puting stuff online? What a shame! ;)

Not unfair at all... so long as you share it with your fellow WebmasterWorld members for free. ;)

Check out this collection [dmoz.org], which probably only contains a fraction of the sites that should actually be listed there.

Even if you look at only the listed ones, you can estimate them to contain roughly 300*3.5mio individual links. I think it is safe to assume that a maximum of 5% of those links will ever be clicked on by a human. That leaves us with a billion unclicked links. In reality, there are probably five to ten times as many of those, if not more. Remember that some sites create arbitrary numbers of copies through subdomains etc.

As the german language saying goes: "Kleinvieh macht auch Mist!" ;)
