Hello everyone,

I致e recently launched a new website, and while I知 excited about the potential, I知 aware that one of the biggest challenges in SEO is building high-quality backlinks, especially for a new site with low domain authority. I知 hoping to get some insights and suggestions from those of you with more experience in building backlinks, particularly when starting from scratch.

Some questions I have are:

What are some of the most effective and quickest ways to build backlinks for a new website?

Are there specific platforms or methods that work better for newly launched sites, considering their lack of online presence?

How can I reach out to other websites for backlink opportunities without appearing too spammy or aggressive?

Are there any tools or resources that can help me monitor and track backlinks, especially in the early stages?

Any tips, strategies, or personal experiences you could share would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi! Yes, getting backlinks is very important for SEO for a new/old website, especially with Google rankings. The most important thing to cross-check is the quality of your content. Is your content very high quality, user-friendly and answers what users are looking for?

If yes, then, how many of those content do you have? Well, there's no specific number, but you should have enough to engage users, so there's more dwell time on your website which will reduce bounce rate and boost your SEO as well.

What I mostly do for my new website is to attract natural backlinks first. How?

I use public forums or boards where it's possible to add my signature or website URL to my bio. I engage in valuable discussions that's draw interest to my profile, which can also bring traffic and possible backlink from website owners.

Aside that, depending on the forum or board where user generated content is shared, I contribute to the board or website and ask users to visit my website for more of what they are reading.

I use medium, LinkedIn, X(Twitter) and Pinterest as well. Social media can bring traffic that could become backlinks.

In all of this, ensure you create high quality natural linkable content. A kinda content that looks like a skyscraper technique.

Depending on your content, do a google search oruse tools online to find websites that have related contents or link to the same kind of content you have, reach out to them sincerely via email to make your proposal.

You need to learn how to send those kinda emails so the possibility of getting a response is high. Ensure the email is sincere; you've read their blog post, tell them what you found interesting on their blog post/content and also naturally inform them of your content so they could check it out and tell you what they think.

If your content is good, they'll naturally link to it, even without you asking in the email. Just make sure you reach out to websites in your niche, with a good domain authority, and email them regarding their content that has a high chance of getting value from yours if they link to you naturally.
