I have a brand new site and I have not been listed in google yet. I have had my link added in a couple 'TOP 100' type link pages some banners, some text decriptions, etc... I in return have added a link back to these sites from my link page. Most of these have PR3 and sometimes PR4, are these link farms? Is this going to hurt me with my google listing (again I am not even listed yet). Please help!

Focus on all different kinds of links, for the most part the link sites parse the links through cgi or something so they dont even count as a link back to you. :P
I like links :) And top100 sites bring in traffic - thats no lie so just get normal links going back to you also. Dont rely on top 100 pages and stuff all the way.
