With Penguin 3.0 (hopefully) around the corner, I want to do everything I can to make sure my site's link profile is clean and ready. Obviously, no one knows exactly what Penguin is going to be looking for so no site is completely safe, but I want to try to cover my bases as much possible.
A few months ago, I used LinkResearchTools to identify potentially problematic backlinks and then disavowed them. However, I've been told that LinkResearchTools is not worth what they charge and can only find a relatively small percentage of the backlinks out there.
Since it has been a few months since then, I want to try to run a sweep through my backlinks again and try to be as prepared as possible.
Does anyone continue to recommend LinkResearchTools? Are there other backlink scanners / evaluators that you recommend? Specifically, any services that identify risky/dangerous back links?
I would greatly appreciate your advice!
Thanks!
