I was wondering if the use of "target_blank" in the code, affects links in any way. I mean are they still pass the same equity and authority or they donīt pass anything?

From what i've seen, it doesn't affect it at all. I use it on all my outbound links.

There won't be any affect if you use "target_blank" for all your links.

The only thing I think it affects from an analytics standing point would be time on page.
This should slight increase time on page, but Chrome seems to reload every time you view the page, so browsers might be moving towards eradicating that stat too.

I'm not sure that adding a target_blank is any indicator of the quality of the website being linked... which is the only way I could ever see this attribute having an impact.
