Do links from authority subdomain's count as unique votes or multiple?

Assume I have 50 sites/pages/profiles on the same type of site i.e. blogging platform or social media site pointing to totally seperate site, would these links count as 50 authority links or would Google only give credit for a partial amount?

Sitewide links give not extra value, would this apply to the above scenario?

I personally believe that only one link from any domain is truly given weight and counted heavily in core calculations for ranking weight.

Other links will push spiders, and possibly pass pagerank, but the algorithm has developed to the point where only one counts, in my opinion.
