any other quick ways to get more backlinks?

At first, one product page has only PR2, then I added overall backlinks from several of my other sites, then post some press releases, and paid for some article submission. It jumped to PR5 one month later(same PR with main domain).

And the keywords ranking on Google jumped from 40+ to 9. But 9 is useless for me, only first 3 is what I am looking for.

Is there any other quick ways to get more backlinks?

If you are on page one of the SERPS then your main priority is probably getting the content right for the searches. My site finally moved from 3 to 1 on its main searches after I added just two words to the home page.

you will never reach a limit when you can say that you have no more ways to increase backlinks. you have reached first page from 5th page for your keywords. you have come so far by doing something which gets results. you should not think like this at this stage. think harder, again and again, you will find ways to get more backlinks. since you are on first page now, focus more on quality of backlinks and content of your site because these top few sites are always hard to compete with.
There is never an end of the road in life at any stage in anything. you just need to upgrade yourself, make your efforts more focussed and work harder.

As we know, maybe good content makes better ranking, however, that page, I mentioned upper, is a product page. If I still use press release, usually I can gain about 10 backlinks from press release, that is too expensive. A press release usually costs me $300 above.

I tried to contact the first 20 search results with that keywords for link exchange, nobody answers me. And then I tried to add backlinks in China, you know I can get more backlinks from Chinese websites cause I am Chinese living in China. I think this may be a good way.

I think the backlinks from China or USA make little difference. But there is one problem, Google turn itself out of China. I don't know how long it will be to index Chinese backlinks.

I've got a test site running, it's in its 5th month now, in which I write articles for the site and for article directories on a one to one ratio. The number of natural links to the site is next to non existent but the backlinks from my articles is significant in number even if lacking in quality. I'm getting bigger backlink bang for my buck by writing for other sites. I'm getting more value for my time by writing for myself. It seems you have to do both.

I'm reminded of a network of sites years ago that had a dropdown directory of every site in the network. Every page was linked to the index page of every site, all PR5 and PR6. The site owner would occasionally launch a new blog but do nothing with it for a couple of months, sometimes ending up with a PR5 blog that only had a "hello world" post. Those were the days. Today the network is no longer linked together in the same way, several sites were simply retired, and most are PR2-3. It was fun while it lasted (earned the owner a premium adsense account for his traffic level too).
