Can links to hosted images be re-linked if hosting acct. is deleted?

I participate in a CAD Design software forum and have hosted many images and tutorials through one of the many image hosting services that are available. The forum has its own upload utility, but the image size is very limited, making hosting much more attractive. Through an inadvertent terms of use violation; my account was deleted with this Image Hosting service and now all my images linked back to the image hosting service are gone, and I'd like to know if it's possible to repair those links; i.e. redirect or re-point to another account with a similar image hosting service?

If I understand this right, you have a number of historic posts on a forum with broken links to images. You want to update those posts to redirect the links to a new location holding the images.

I would say that is something you need to discuss with the forum owner.
