Nofollow links and Webmaster tools

I have noticed in my Google webmaster tools that there are external links from sites which I know use nofollow.
Does that mean that nofollow links somehow do count towards PR? Or are they just listed in Webmaster tools as an FYI, but are still meaningless towards PR?

I'm pretty sure webmaster tools just shows links, whether they're passing value or not.

They've said they show all links there, and don't discriminate on nofollow. I wish they would at least annotate them or something... :(
