Hi,

In SEO Linkbuilding, I got a doubt. Would be grateful if someone could help me out.

While building links by posting articles, forums etc, is it necessary that all the links should be the home page of the site?

In case every backlink points to individual pages within the site and not the home page, will it dilute the page rank.

Anyone please help

If you get quality links pointing to internal pages, benefits from that will flow through your site navigation to help other pages as well. So not every link needs to be to the home page.

Make sure that every page in your site links back to the home page, then make your linking decisions based on relevance. If linking to an internal page is what makes the most sense for the context, that is what you should do.

If you get quality links based on relevance, Page Rank tends to look after itself.

Hi, Thanks for the reply..

Also one more doubt is about posting articles in popular sites. Is it really necessary that each article is unique or is it fine if I post same article in say 100 sites or so. Is posting same articles multiple times will be blacklisted?

Kindly can u help me.

I doubt 100 'popular sites' will let you submit duplicate articles to them in the first place. If you are talking about article directories, it doesn't matter as long as you get a link from the websites (which should help your site or be indifferent).
