Is it best to:
Duplicate the articles on the site
OR
Link to the article from the site with appropriate anchor text

Run a blog on the site with all the articles uploaded to it. Link to the blog from the site. Market it through social bookmarking, twitter, etc. to gain additional readership you miss via the newsletter.
