HI.

I have a directory and i have added my other website url with keywords to every directory page.(different ips)
Now doing a search for those keys i am not in the serps , or at least cannot find the website.
I believe google may have penalised me.
Can you help please to rectify this.

Thanks.

So its missing when using site:domain.tld?

added my other website .. to every directory page

The rule is - never do anything 100%. It makes it easier for SE's to filter you.

Hi.

No the site isn't missing, it has dropped from the 2nd page to wherever for the keywords, If you want to look at the page i can PM you the url if you like.

Cheers.

You might reduce the number of links to your other site by 80 - 100% to see the effect in a few months time
or having reduced the total, change the remainder to deep links with relevant kw's, as being more useful to visitors than template sitewide links.
And check Webmaster Tools for any content issues.

are you using these links to try to increase serp rankings or for traffic?

If it's for traffic, just add nofollow to the links.

How many pages are we talking here?

You don't need 100+ inbound links from the same site. Place a link or 2 only on the top pages and then look elsewhere for links. Too many links from 1 site definately looks spammy. If you want to leave all of them, just nofollow all but a few of the directory links.

Then I would recommend diversifying your link profile. Quality inbounds will help you recover. This process can take some time, but it will work for you in the long run.
