I want know whether link building for homepage also increase the rankings of the inner pages?

As I understand things the more "link juice" a page gets the more will trickle down to the rest of the site.

as long as they are linked from the homepage without nofollow tags.

it has for me. Using anchor text on link from my home page to internal pages.

It is also very important of the inner links mean from your page to page, but it really do good to you pr,not just from other site's home page, IMO.

Links pointing to your homepage will benefit pages linked to from your homepage so long as they do not have the nofollow tag, yes.

Your internal link structure dictates how much "benefit" ends up where but it is passed along for sure.
