This recent thread [webmasterworld.com] makes me thinking about reciprocity links location.
Site A agreed on linking to me (B)
Now as B where do I stock those new links to A,C,D etc...
In my content where is some relevance? (That's my way)
In a right col as sorted by category?
Any rule of thumbs?
Did you script something to verify that those links are still pointing to live sites?

Your thoughts:.....

Place the link to your link partners on a page that is useful for your end users. Don't play games just publish the links in a place that is useful for your end users. Although some here in this forum will tell you otherwise, its perfectly fine and acceptable to search engines to place your links in a well organized and categorized directory. Your rankings will improve when you link out to quality websites that are related to your own. The key is to keep the volume slow and natural, and maintain very high relevancy. In other words, do not publish hundreds and hundreds of irrelevant links to other sites overnight. That does not benefit the end users.

If you want to publish links within your content, thats ok to. I publish links as sidebards in my articles. You can do it however you like just make sure it benefits your end users.

You can use a script or an application service. Whatever you use, make sure its editor based.

Does it hurt if asides relevant links within content
the same links are also categorized in a "links" page
so the quetion I gues is does it matter if the same link occurs more than once on your site?
