Hey guys,

I wanted to find out other people's experiences with getting some quality links for a target keyword, and if they noticed any irratic position changing (ie. within the top 30 results one day, the next day it's back down to where it originally was before you had the links at 140)?

Is this some sort of test Google is doing to see how well my site will do at that higher position?

Also, I read in a book it takes around 6 months to get the full benefit of a link - true?

Thanks guys, love this site.

The answer is long, complicated and highly debated.
