I run different sites on save server and IP.

The topics of all sites are almost different.

My 3 major sites are offering discount coupons, and 2 articles directories, 1 classifieds site.

Supporting sites are funny sms, funny jokes and some other sites on different topics and they have visitors from India and Pakistan and found at google.com.pk and also from google.com

Currently they are interlinked as follows:

Links of coupons sites are present on all pages of articles directories and classified ads and other supporting sites.

links of articles directories are present at all supporting sites.

classified ads site's links are present at directories and supporting sites.

Now I want to know that will this interlinking considered to be a spam linking strategy?

I have searched over the internet and forums but could not found any related topic.

If any interlinking guru can let me know the best interlinking within my domains, I will be thankful.

Should I get dedicated IPs for individual domains or interlink only one domain from any domain in list.

If anyone has the same situation please share your linking strategy with me.

Thanks and regards

You can have a bunch of sites on the same or diff server. If they relate to each other somehow is a smart move to create links between the pages that relate. Thats ok, that would be making your sites work together.

There is no evidence or rule stating "don't link between your sites... worse if they are on the same server". Its ok. BUT, if you want to have the true power of links, remember they work best if they are non reciprocal, AND if they aren't on the same server.

G knows if your sites are on the same server, it is also known that it remembers the ip as time goes by. So you cam move your 5 sites to diff servers but I don't know if in this case still doesn't give the full value to the link.

So, interlink *as much as is needed and useful*. But no, is not the same as having them apart.

I would link according to the value to the readers/users, no more. We had the same situation for a while, it helps to have a dedicated IP but if its all on the same server, it can only add so much value because they are all on the same class C.

I ended up moving some of the heavier of the linking sites to a different server just so I did not wonder and have since seen "0" difference, however, I did notice a difference when I used different IP addresses where the backlinks were concerned. There were none showing up when on the same shared IP but after moving 3 sites to different IP addresses (still the same server) they started showing up. I am not sure if this helped the rankings much because I was doing this among other updates.
