I run a consumer products information website in an area where the margins are very healthy for the manufacturers of these consumer goods. I have been approached and offered money to have a page about this particular manufacturer built with a link to the manufacturers website. I am trying to figure out how much a fair market value is to charge for such a thing.

My site gets about 6,000 vistors a month.

Any help or suggestions would be great!

*Will they supply the content?
*Who approached you? Manufacturer direct or their marketing agency, and what position did they hold within their organisation?
*Can your competitors offer the same at your level? Have they been approached?
* How are your 6,000 visitors arriving at your site?
If you want to send me your URL, don't mind telling you what I would pay you..

Dont take this the wrong way but I would rather not pass along my URL.

With that said I hope you can still advise me. It was the manufacturer directly, I believe someone from marketing dept. They have been online for about 7 months themselves...I believe they are a relatively new company. They are a Canadian company as well, and from what I can gather from searching around a little bit I get about 6x the amount of US customers to my site per month.

My 6000 visitors arrive from about 35% natural SE traffic, and 65% from direct type in traffic. I am currently not enaged in any PPC campaigns.

I would supply the content. Not sure what my competitors would do, and honestly probably have no way of finding out.

I would appreciate any more opinions! Thanks.
