URL with Multiple Parameters - Not Good for Link Juice?

We have got permission to have a link to our site from a good, related site.

We asked for the anchor text to be the KW that we need, giving us a direct absolute link to our site.

Instead what they have done is set the anchor text link to a 3rd party site for tracking purposes - once you click on the text link, it goes to another site, and then forwards you to our site.

The tage behind the anchor text looks something like this:

[adblahblahcom.example.com...]

What we are concerned with is that this link will be of no value to us since it does not go to our site absolutely.

Would anyone know if this is a worthless link? Obviously we do not care who is clicking on the link - we just want a good text link with anchor text.

Someone please comment on this - We have no idea :)

A URL like that probably will not pass any anchor text benefits to your site, but it might bring targeted traffic. Would that be of value to your site?

We're originally intended this link to help build our links with good KW anchor text.

Do you sell stuff on your site? That looks like the other site has signed up with an affiliate service to be an affiliate for you... and they are going thru an ad service (like commission junction) so that IF the user buys something on your site, they get paid for it.
