Link building software is generally not recommended. There have been many good threads on the topic of link building. Have a look through the library [webmasterworld.com] to get lots of tips.

Build unique and useful content, that is the way to get backlinks.

You need to give value to the whole Internet community, that's all.

Well, since we are putting together our Christmas Wish List...

I'll take a PR9 and if possible, a PR10 backlink. That's at the top of my list. But, its been there ever since the PageRank™ indicator was publicly released. ;)
