What are wages for people in India who do link building. I mean monthly?

I found this from 2005. This is annual salary.

Project manager: £5,220
Software engineer: £5,344
Accountant: £2,956
Sales rep: £2,464
Production worker: £964
Source: Mercer Human Resource Consulting

Where would link builder fit on that list?

There has been a considerable increase in the salary figures and the avg. salary has gone by atleast 25% than the one mentioned above.

As of today, the link builders would fit somewhere in between £2200 - £2400

Kunwarbs thanks for the answer, would that be dependent on where you live as well and what sort of of person would you get for that?

Also are the any boards you could point me to?

That's exhorbitant if you're quoting a monthly figure for an Indian link builder, kunwarbs. Is that monthly or yearly?

Yes, the wages would differ from place to place..the one i mentioned is for A class cities that includes metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore etc...For B and C grade cities it will fall by somewhere 25% and 40-50% respectively...

However, the better skill set and quality will be found in the people from former category..with experience of upto 1.5 - 3 years.

I am not sure if you would find this data on any boards..

P.S. Sorry I missed to add that it was the ANNUAL wages...

Crush - what made you look to India?

I recall that you were happy with Eastern European link builders for $200 per month ( $2400 a year ) which is less than these Indian indicative prices.

Hi we still have an office with 20 people or so but are concentrating on programming and smart ways of getting lots of links in a short amount of time. Basically we have a project now getting blog and forum links which is real monkey work and did not want to get someone full time so I am using a guy that we used before who is in India.

Link monkeys has been a term used for link building for a long time regardless of geographical location. Nothing to do with people but more to do with the job. You are getting the wrong end of the stick.
