Multiple Keywords in Anchor Text Links

Ok what is the best way to get anchor inbound text links. Let us assume that i use Word Tracker and got 10 - 15 keywords related to my main keyword phrase. Say keywords A-J

Next I write to 10 related sites asking for inbound links to my website. Should I get an anchor text link for keyword A for all 10. Or Keywords A-J for each. What really would be the best strategy. I have heard that the Google Algo categorizes a website initially then moves from there. Is this ok to take the plunge forward. Thanks guys let me know.
