Hi All

I am just about to start a link building campaign.

I want to know what my first steps need to be, like a small guide for someone new to link building.

Hope you can help!

There are sites that hook up sites to reciprocate links.

There's one I use often, but I have to look at every single site. Some sites register, but don't have their own links pages. Instead, they have a link to a link farm site. Don't use those.

There are sites that use javascript to bury your link where the SE's will never find it.

There are sites that have 500 links on one page, thus doing you no good.

There are sites that put your link up for a month or so, and then take it down. Some sites gather links until they get their pagerank up, then delete the links pages completely.

Trust, but verify.

Does anyone have a good example of a link request email?

Please review our Library. The link is on this page, just above the words Link Development.
