Does it hurt your rankings to have the same links going out (from link swapping partners) as you do going in?

Is it possible Google would see this as an attempt to get links unnaturally?

I am curious this one too, if I do focus only one-way link, do they hurt the ranking?

Thematically irrelevant one way link building would hurt your keyword ranks...

Some one ways inbound, some one ways outbouns and quality recips are fine, IMHO. All in balance. Don't listen to the scaremongers running around perpetrating myths that there's a penalty for recips. Just stay away from link farms and automated linking schemes.

Read cnvi's posts in this thread - twice. :)

One-way links, IMHO, can't hurt your site ranking, if they seem natural enough (just as it was said above - stay away from any link farms, automated schemes and the like) and keep them relevant.
