Should one admit to being the owner of the website?

What do you think is the way to go?

1) Suggest website for addition and clearly state that you own the website.

2) Suggest website because you find it useful and not mention that you own it.

I should have made myself clearer. It's about suggesting a reference website to non commercial domains. In this case I tend to believe that short apparently non biased suggestions could be more effective.
