People say content is king, and having good quality content will attract people to link to you.
My question is, if I have good content, and I have no backlinks.... then how will the world know about my content before I even think of them linking to me?

submit your site to directories. submit to DMOZ and yahoo. email other sites and ask them to swap links. one-way links are better, but you can't be too fussy when you're starting out.

Promote your site, get more backlinks (submit to directories, classified ads, participate in forums with your keywords, create blog that is related to your site, article writing with your keywords , article directory submission, social bookmarking, link exchange partners and a lot of ways on how to get backlinks for your site.
