I work for a company that has resalers, and we want our resalers to place an iframe on their site that contains various information on our services and contains a link to our site. From what I understand, any links contained within the iframe will not be visible to search engines and will not help in our link building efforts, but will it help that the source url for the iframe is located under our domain name? Let's say the source url for the iframe is www.domain.com/iframe. Would this help the overall rank for www.domain.com, or just for the particular page hosting the code for the iframe? (Obviously we don't care about the page rank for the latter.) Thanks in advance for any insight!
