Hi,

I have recently noticed that some dot.ac and dot.edu have linked to my site (without even asking too - yikes)...

Of course, I am keen to get these links indexed...is it a good idea for me to temporary link back on my site? (as my site seems to get crawled quite regularly...)

The links to me , are very deep on the university sites....and I fear that they may never, or will take a very long time to get indexed...

After they have been indexed I would remove the reciprocal link......

Is this a good thing to do.....will it help in indexing my backlink more quickly?

Thanks in advance...

If your that worried they may not get indexed, why not just submit the url to Google?

My feeling is that if they're that buried, they're not going to do you much good anyway, so there's no point in worrying about it.

Has the page with your link on it been cached? If it hasn't recently you could link to that page to speed up its indexing.
