Has anyone used this and do you recommend it?
Most likely any software that helps with the mechanics of link management will be helpful for saving time, but more important is how the links are chosen.
You don't want a FFA (free for all) link exchange, that won't do any good. Rather, you'd do better choosing targeted, on-topic links that are relevant to your site. You'd probably be better off pre-screening the links instead of letting people just add them indiscriminately. That could get you some unwelcome surprises.
there are lots of PHP scripts at hotscripts.com depending on which language you'd prefer to use.
I think the script I am looking at is a little different than what you may think I am asking about. It isn't part of any link exchange "farm" or anything like that. Webmasters submit a reciprocal link request with my site using the script and then I am required to accept or reject the link requests. Would you please take a look at it at <snipped URL> and let me know what you think of it. I have also been able to change words in the script to "site" to avoid problems with the "link" word.
Many thanks for your help.

You'll have to actually put it into use to be able to tell whether it was a wise purchase. The fact that you can approve or reject the submissions is a very good feature, so it sounds like you made a good choice.
I just wanted to let you know I have the link management script installed and it is working nicely. The guy I bought it from was really helpful in getting it installed. I think this would be a big help to a lot of people.
