I don't normally buy links but I have a website which is receiving lots of low pr links every day, normally pro pr1 pr2 pr3 and maybe the odd pr4 (approx 20 new links every day)but never seems to attract any high pr links

About 3 months ago I bought a pr6 link on an internal page of another small website, mainly because it seemed cheap, was perfectly targeted and less than 10 links leaving the page. No change in my Pr (still4) but my site has improved ranking across the board and my internal pages (2000) at least have pr now whereas before they didn't. (of course I don't know if that is the reason for improved ranking)

I know pr isn't everything but in my sector people know enough to look at the pr of my site and perhaps decide to advertise on my site because of it. Also my competitors are all Pr5 and I would like to join them :) My site is growing at about 50 pages a day and I want to make sure it all gets spidered quickly.

So my question... I can also pay for a link on the homepage of this site. I know it will bring me virtually no traffic...maybe 20 visitors a day but I have no idea how much to offer the guy. I get the feeling the page is a medium pr7 as there are about 5 pages in the next level down all pr6 and the next level down from that many are still pr6 but some pr5

There is a grand total of 3 external links and 5 internal links on the page.

Any ideas on a range of likely cost for a link like that... I know it is difficult to say but I am just looking for some approximate idea.

If you are going to buy another link, buy one on a different site then the one you already have a link on. PR7 homepage links go for $80 - $120 per month.
