We told a client we would spend $300 on link buys.

They already had Business.com and Yahoo directory listings. I also bought them a Best of the Web listing.

Where else would you recommend we spend this money?

Hi Whoa.

I would go after niche directories in that topic area. Almost every sector of the web has a topic directory.

Hi, did you have to pay go get into business.com and yahoo.com?
I'm running a non-commercial website. I'm planning to get into dmoz and yahoo directory. Are these free?

Dmoz is free, if they list you. Yahoo I think is free for non-profits.
