Where to host link bait?

I have a funny idea for something people will link to. I won't make a penny, but it'll bring in link pop that I'd like to use for a number of other projects.

Where should I host my link bait? On a domain of it's own or on a back page on one of the projects that supposed to get pushed?

If the topic is related to one of your site's content, that would be the logical place to put it.

Link bait that wastes people's time may get you clicks - but not happy customers. And who needs clicks from people who don't want to be there?*

*MFA sites? Maybe. No site with a future :)
