Linking one Site to another.

So I have developed a site that is related to a site that I already have is it safe to link these? I haven't really stayed up to date on this and didn't want to cause problems for my self...

Also how many sites is it ok to link together owned by the same person assuming they were all related topics...

Linking with the innner pages is good, but upto what extend i dont know. Better you search for another sites for exchanging links.

You can link dozens of sites together that are related, but consider placing them on different servers. It may be better to have one good site that 10 inferior sites however.

Do I need to make the Who is information different, and by different server do you just mean a seperate ip?
