Dear all,

I have been looking into purchasing some link development software tool. There are quite a few products in the market. However, due to the massive affiliate noise around them I feel I can't trust the stuff I read about them. I hve been trialing some of them I think I am ready to make a decission. However, the question: Which software should I get? it is a recurrent one in this forum.

Seeing what Receptional did in the Logging and Tracking for tracking applications has inspired me to put together this list of features for Link Developing software. This is the sort of stuff I have been looking at when researching this matter. Maybe we can all add the software we are using or have used so next time someone asks the questions there is a thread to direct them to.

I cant share any successful experience with you. I have just started paying attention to developing inbound links. I am actually more curious to know your experience in researching and how these tools generally work.

I can totally understand the mantra and dogma of the affiliate marketing these seo/sem software companies participate in and how they give off a really negative/ shady connotation.

I feel like they are just creating a buzz w/ out a product that can actually backup all the hype.

For instance, I chose to purchase Keyword Tracker - big mistake. Nothing close to what they describe their product to be and allot of free products cover small elements they offer.

I guess my question is... what product are you leaning more to? Have you found anything that would suggest link building products are even worth while and why, etc.?

Thanks,
