If you have a commercial site people suggest doing a blog for getting organic links. Say I want the links to my site to rank for " new york hotels" but it is going to be the blog bait that gets the serp. So I get busy and do some bait on britney getting down in a new york hotel room. The only think I could think of is redirecting the article or changing the blog page with the hotel content so I can get on with the real purpose of selling New York hotel rooms.

The other would be to not have a blog and just add a one page article to the target page.
Anyone done some bait on ecom sites that can add here?

1. You create your blog.
2. Link bait for it
3. Place some links in your blog to your ecom site
4. Job done.

Post something outrageous or unique about the site inthe blog, and tell people to go look. If it's unique enough, they'll link straight to the site.
