Does noarchive affect the 'value' of links

One of my sites uses noarchive metatag on all its pages and therefore a link: search will not show it linking to other sites (I guess because there is no cache to search for back links).

My question: will these links (generally from pages with PR 3,4, 5) still be useful to the other sites (often of lower PR) that I am linking to?

So nobody knows or is my question maybe not clear enough?

I'd appreciate any input or guesses on that one.

I dont believe it will make any difference. I am guessing that Google still keeps a copy of the pages and just keeps others from viewing a cached version of it.
