Link from English to non-English websites: any sense?

I think about linking to some non-english websites. Will it benefit those websites in any way?

Possibly, yes.

But will it benefit your visitors, or will it confuse them?

The Golden Rule is to consider your visitors first; if the links could be of benfit, go for it. If not, the damage could outweigh any benefit to anyone.
