Just finished writing an april fools 'story' for my site. It's really just to entertain the regulars but it did make me think about the massive link bait potential.
Have any of you used april fools day in the past to generate some good links?

Well it worked - so far i've got a bunch of decent new links and traffic is up 70-80%.
No-one else try anything similar?
