I recently recieved a link request and while investigating the site I found an additional page ranking at the bottom that was not a google pagerank. The PageRank meter directed me to a site called <snip> a site that boost your popularity of your links by linking to them.

I can't tell too much from the description of the site and i'm kind of suspicious. Has anyone heard of this site, or is familiar with what it does? Is it a link farm?

tough to tell with the <snip> in there, but i'd recommend going with your gut. if it feels suspicious, you should probably look elsewhere. there are plenty of places out there that won't leave you unsettled.

Sites like that are usually pretty dubious. Not worth the risk.
