I am going to build a general blog that discusses many different consumer products and services. I want to use my sidebar to link to several of my other web sites and blogs that are related, and I will not be linking BACK to the blog from any of the sidebar sites. I own all of the sites in question and don't try to hide that fact.

Question 1: Is that bad linking or penalty burdened linking?

Question 2: If you just link ONE WAY and don't return the link, how can that be a problem?

No this is fine fact is iI would add a link on the page I was reviewing to go to that page I do it all the time.
