I have had a couple of frustrating day searching for site one by one, and not had much success. The person who I am working with is very busy and does not always have the time to take me through things step by step. I was given a document that was helpful, after the first few days, so I feel that I am making some headway.

I would also appreciate useful strategies for building backlinks, as well as really useful free directories to submit my URLs.

I have a long way to go; however I love the journey including the FUSTRATION.

Many Thanks.

Look for the appropriate directories for each url. I receive a lot of requests for links that aren`t a appropriate for my directories ... I have a polite refusal letter ready. For example .... construction company ... contact real estate and home owner oriented directories ... and be prepared to pay for the link. I do ZERO link exchanges. Sometimes people don't understand that you need to pay for services! And of course .... linking your particular business back to a directory with 100's of similar businesses is just plain stupid.

Welcome aboard Adafa, have you discovered the Link Development Library [webmasterworld.com]? Lots of good info over there.
