Big daddy - a better link map?

Does Big daddy have a better way of mapping links?

I wonder if anybody has any thoughts on big daddy, and what "developments" it will bring. Could it possibly have a more accurate way of mapping links? And are the results going to change more so than with a normal update? Oh, and any ideas on when it's rolling out across the whole network? Thanks!

Hi

According to what I have read, "Big Daddy" its's not the usual algorithm update like we have seen.

This one has to do with Google's data center infrastructure. The update should, according to Matt Cutts be live in February or March. According to recent articles, this update is designed to help handle
potential spam problems like 302 redirections. The update will also allow Google to build more advanced algorithms and larger data bases.

The new spyder will possibly be able to index things like links with images, java scripts or flash files.

I'm not going to panic. As long as you have a well-optimized site with lots of quality back links you should be fine.

Hopefully yes, especially in the case of mapping 302 links :)
