3rd Party Links

Do They Really Work?

Hello

I came across some free 3rd party links and the idea seems pretty neat.

I am wondering if anybody has had any experience in using them and also do they really work?

They claim they are all one way links with PR's of 4,5 and 6 with 100% relevant to your industry.

All you do is copy and paste a code on all your pages, select your category and keywords and you are in the network.

At that point for every update supposedly relevant one way links with high PR point to your homepage.

For every month you stay within the network more and more relevant links point to your website.

Hmmmm.........?

Any stories to share here?

My experience, stay away from anything 'link network' related, and any system that requires you upload links to your site in that regard.

The most safest way it go find suitable link partners yourself. This way you can also sift for quality, and occasionally get better pr links with custom emails.

On the contrary, there is a free lunch. It just tastes bad.

Too funny, ownerrim, it reminds me of the kid song "Found a Peanut, Found a Peanut" - at the end of the song he dies from the stomach ache.

Which seems to be an appropriate analogy, actually.

All humor aside, JoeHouse, I have seen one of these programs that you describe - I got a really sick feeling in my stomach that I had to load "their special" link directory (which of course is an obvious no-no in the google world nowadays), then I would get all these supposed great links - when you find out what they are you wanna puke. Not only that, but now MY site is linking back to others in that program - I can almost promise you that the majority of the others in that program are bad neighborhood spam.

In conclusion, once in that program, your site is obligated to have links to those bad neighborhoods to stay in the program and keep the links to you, and the bad neighborhoods mean that you will eventually be toast.

Just my opinion - I actually looked into one of these programs just out of curiosity and it really smelled like rotten peanuts.

Thanks Guys

I was afraid of that. I actually gave it a try for just a couple of days and pulled out quickly.

I noticed just like you said the sites I was linking to were awful.

The funny thing was none of these sites had any backlinks either.

Now if they are in this so called network of 3rd party links and have been there for a while. Then why the heck don't any of these sites have any backlinks?

This was the whole point for joining.
