Hello,

I would like to ask how to go about finding reputable places that have links up for auction, what to look for in a broker, etc.

How to check if I am buying the link, which have value. I know that I have to check backlinks, number of indexed site, when it was registered.

How to check if their page rank is not mirrowed or cloaked. I saw in the forum that pagerank has not so much value as before. IS this correct.

Thank you in advance!

As far as Google is concerned, I've personally found very little data to support any decision for what is good and what is a waste of cash.

The only thing that I can bank on, is-
How long has the site been around?
How many links on the page that you're getting on?
Are they related to your niche?

But even then, all of will remain curious (forever) as to exactly how much value do you get from that link. There is no way to tell... part of googles secret.

Just keep in mind, that there is a chance that you may dish out $150 for a link, and in the end be completely worthless in the eyes of the search engines.

Take that notion, and apply it to "How much money could I just 'give away' and not feel hurt by it."

Chances are, you'll end up spending a lot less cash... and through that, you'll be able to determine if it was worth it or not.

As far as I can tell it has little to no value with search results. Now for those wanting to sell links ...
